Dawn was born in Australia but moved to England when she was ten years old. She studied art at Bournemouth and Newcastle-Upon-Tyne, where she gained a BA (Hons) in art and design and also a post graduate diploma in teaching. Dawn then studied various other specialist teaching qualifications in dyslexic teaching and assessment.

Dawn has always combined her love and art with her passion for teaching dyslexics and learning all that she can about overcoming and living with dyslexia. Dawn is herself dyslexic. Dawn now spends most of her time in Western Australia.

 

 

1. Limited Edition original hand prints, screen prints, mainly landscapes. Detailed, atmospheric and relaxing images printed on acid free, heavy, hand made velum paper. Each image is signed and numbered by the artist. Edition numbers vary from 100 to 250 and have been sold all over the world.

Image sizes vary from 10” x 10” to 22” x 30”

 

During her career, Dawn has produced over 50 editions of screen prints. Some of these are still available and Dawn has decided to sell them herself to selected customers rather than continue to use her many agents.

Because of this she is able to release these last original screen prints at reasonable price. Prices vary from $40US to $160US.

2.  Hand painted originals in oils that begin as a monoprint and are then worked on to produce a detailed, textured rich interplay of colours. These images are of landscapes and flowers.

Dawn is about to begin a series of oil on canvas that reflect the Australian
landscape.

Studios

Dawn had a studio in Dumfries, Scotland and also one in Perugia, Italy. The images reflect these two very different landscapes. She now has a purpose built studio in Rockingham, Western Australia and is working on a series of Australian landscapes.
